INSTRUMENT PANEL - NOISE AT FRONT OF INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD ASSEMBLY
In the event of a recurrence of one or more of the five (5) front attaching screws backing out at the front of the instrument panel pad assembly, correct as follows:
1. Remove instrument panel pad assembly.
2. Replace all five (5) existing J-nuts (See Figure 1, Item A) with new style prevailing torque fastener nuts, Part Number 25530441 available through GM Parts Department. NOTE: THIS NEW PART MAY ALSO BE USED ON OTHER AREAS OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CARRIER.
