If Theft Deterrent System sounds when unlocking either front door with key, the lock rod from lock cylinder to lock may be too long, restricting full travel of lock cylinder switch. This could also create an inoperative condition of the two stage automatic door lock feature on cars so equipped.
This operation to be performed on left door only if car has one or both options and on right door only if car has theft deterrent AU4.
