WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATION REVISED

MODELS AFFECTED: 1987 FRONT WHEEL DRIVE ELECTRAS AND LESABRES

Wheel alignment specifications have changed since the 1987 Chassis Service Manual was published. Use the following specifications when performing a wheel alignment on 1987 front wheel drive Electras and LeSabres:

Front

o Camber +.2 DEG +/- .5 DEG o Cross Camber 0 DEG +/- .75 DEG (left-right) o Caster 2.5 DEG +/- .5 DEG o Cross Caster 0 DEG +/- .75 DEG o Toe (per wheel) 0 DEG +/- .1 DEG o Sum Toe 0 DEG +/- .2 DEG o Steering Wheel Angle 0 DEG +/- 3 DEG

Rear

o Camber -.3 DEG +/- .5 DEG o Cross Camber 0 DEG +/- .75 DEG (left-right) o Toe (per wheel) .05 DEG +/- .1 DEG o Sum Toe .1 DEG +/- .2 DEG
