A/C COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE PIPE BREAKAGE (NEW P/N)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1986-87 ELECTRA AND LESABRE WITH AIR CONDITIONING

Some 1986-87 Electras and LeSabres may experience a broken air conditioning compressor discharge pipe (broken between the compressor and muffler). If this condition occurs and a new discharge pipe, Part Number 25529255, is ordered from GM PARTS, this number will be superseded by Part Number 25530596. Part Number 25530596 has a larger O.D. tube (3/4") to prevent recurrence.
