FRONT SEAT BACK CUSHION TILTED OUTBOARD

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-1988 DEVILLES AND FLEETWOODS -----------------

Some 1985-1988 DeVilles and Fleetwoods may experience a condition of front seats leaning outboard. To repair this condition, use the following procedure:

1. Raise seat to full up position.

2. Disconnect drive cable from rear vertical gear nut on inboard side, refer to Figures 1 and 2.

3. Move rear tilt down, using the door-mounted control switch, until seat is no longer leaning.

4. Reconnect drive cable.
