DIGITAL CLUSTER DISPLAY FLICKERS (SEATBELT TELLTALE). Buick Electra/Park Avenue 1989

CONDITION

SOME VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH DIGITAL CLUSTER (U52) MAY EXHIBIT THE CONDITION OF A FLICKERING DISPLAY OR A FASTEN SEAT BELT TELLTALE WHICH MAY MOMENTARILY FLASH ON DURING POWER SURGES. THE SEAT BELT TELLTALE WILL CONTINUE TO OPERATE NORMALLY AND WILL ILLUMINATE WHEN REQUIRED.

CORRECTION

A RESISTOR HAS BEEN CHANGED ON THE DISPLAY BOARD. IN ORDER TO CORRECT THE ABOVE CONDITION, FOLLOW THE NORMAL PROCEDURE TO PROCURE AN EXCHANGE CLUSTER FROM THE LOCAL DELCO REPAIR CENTER.
