Proportioner Valve Remove and Install should be added to Section 5E.
PROPORTIONER VALVE
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Depressurize hydraulic accumulator, refer to "Depressurizing Hydraulic Accumulator" in this section.
Failure to depressurize the hydraulic accumulator prior to performing this operation may result in personal injury and/or damage to painted surfaces. Refer to CAUTION on Page 5E-1.
Raise vehicle, refer to GENERAL INFORMATION (Section OA).
2. Brake feed line from proportioner valve and plug.
3. Outlet pipes to rear wheels ad plug.
4. Proportioner valve.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Proportioner valve to outlet pipe.
2. Brake feed line to proportioner valve.
Adjust
* Brake line clearances per figure.
Tighten
* Brake lines to 15 N.m (11 lb.ft.)
3. Fill fluid reservoir, refer to "Checking and Filling Brake Fluid" in this section.
4. Bleed brake system, refer to "Bleeding Brake System" in this section.
