NEW TWILIGHT SENTINEL AND DAYTIME RUNNING LAMP MODULES

SUBJECT: NEW TWILIGHT SENTINEL TO CORRECT NO HEADLAMP FLASH WITH THEFT DETERRENT-HEADLAMPS ON AND TIME OUT WITH PARK LAMPS-REPEATED ON/OFF CYCLES AT DUSK OR DAWN

MODELS AFFECTED: 1990 PARK AVENUE/ELECTRA

THIS BULLETIN REVISES 90-9-2 TO CORRECT THE LABOR TIME. BULLETIN NO. 90-9-2 SHOULD BE DESTROYED.

CONDITION:

A new Twilight Sentinel module has been developed to correct the following conditions on the subject vehicles:

1. Headlamps coming on and timing out when turning on the park lamp switch with the key in the "off" position. This may occur with the Twilight Sentinel system on or off.

2. Headlamps will not flash at night when the Theft Deterrent system is activated.

3. Headlamps turn on and off (repeated cycles) at dawn or dusk.

CORRECTION:

To correct these conditions, replace the Twilight Sentinel module using part number 16515789.
