Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1861589 Size: SH
  1. Remove the muffler assembly. Refer to Muffler Replacement.
  2. Remove the exhaust muffler front heat shield nuts (3).
  3. Remove the exhaust muffler front heat shield (4).
  4. Remove the exhaust muffler heat shield nuts (1).
  5. Remove the exhaust muffler heat shield (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1861589 Size: SH
  1. Position the exhaust muffler heat shield (2) to the floor panel.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the exhaust muffler heat shield nuts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Position the exhaust muffler front heat shield (4) to the floor panel.
  4. Install the exhaust muffler front heat shield nuts (3).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the muffler assembly. Refer to Muffler Replacement.
