Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2008 🢒 Enclave 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Intake Manifold Installation

    Object Number: 1864766 Size: SH
  1. Install the NEW lower intake manifold gasket.

    2. Object Number: 1864764 Size: SH
  2. Install the intake manifold assembly.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1864763 Size: SH
  3. Loosely install the short intake manifold bolts.

    4. Object Number: 1864761 Size: SH
  4. Loosely install the long intake manifold bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten all of the intake manifold bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  5. Install the left intake manifold insulator.

    6. Object Number: 1864759 Size: SH
  6. Install the left intake manifold insulator bolts.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the left intake manifold insulator bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the right intake manifold insulator.

    8. Object Number: 1864757 Size: SH
  8. Install the right intake manifold insulator bolts.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the right intake manifold insulator bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  9. Install the evaporative emissions (EVAP) solenoid.

    10. Object Number: 1864755 Size: SH
  10. Install the EVAP solenoid bolt.

    11. Tighten
    Tighten the EVAP solenoid bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  11. Install and connect the intake manifold-to-solenoid EVAP hose to the intake manifold and to the EVAP solenoid.

    12. Object Number: 1864753 Size: SH
  12. Install the front intake manifold insulator.

    13. Object Number: 1864752 Size: SH
  13. Install and connect the dirty air positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose to the intake manifold and to the right camshaft cover fitting.

    14. Object Number: 1864751 Size: SH
  14. Install the rear intake manifold insulator.

    15. Object Number: 1864750 Size: SH
  15. Install and connect the fresh air PCV hose to the left camshaft cover fitting.
