The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
When playing a DVD there is no video on the rear screen, but the audio works fine from the vehicle speakers. The wireless headphones will also be inoperative. This can be caused by the X216 connector being unplugged.
Note: If this vehicle has a navigation radio (UZR), the video will play on the navigation screen when the vehicle is in park.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Inspect the X216 connector for being unplugged. The X216 connector is a 20 way connector and is located behind the left A pillar trim.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
