Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement.
2. Remove the fog lamp bezel. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Bezel Replacement.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. From the inside of the front bumper fascia, using a blunt instrument, pinch the retainers and push outward on the 2 upper mounting studs for the fog lamp.
5. Using the same blunt instrument, pinch the retainer and push outward on the adjustment screw for the fog lamp.

Fog Lamp Retainer (Qty: 3)

Procedure

Ensure the retainers are repositioned into the front bumper fascia mounting holes prior to the installation of the new fog lamp if they become dislodged during the removal of the lamp.

Fog Lamp Assembly

Warning: Refer to Halogen Bulb Warning in the Preface section.

Procedure

Remove the bulb socket from the lamp assembly and transfer as necessary.

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement.

Front Fog Lamp Bulb

Warning: Refer to Halogen Bulb Warning in the Preface section.

Procedure

Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise and remove the bulb assembly from the fog lamp.

Front Fog Lamp Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Front Fog Lamp Adjuster Screw Retainer

Tip
Ensure the retainer is secure to the fog lamp housing ring.

Front Fog Lamp Adjuster Screw

Procedure

1. Remove the fog lamp adjuster screw out the front of the lower front bumper fascia.
2. Count the number of turns outward when removing the screw in order to re-install the screw close to the same position.
3. Adjust the front fog lamp assembly after the replacement. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming.

Front Fog Lamp Assembly

Procedure

Remove the fog lamp housing from the fog lamp retainer ring.

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the park, and turn signal lamp bracket assembly. Refer to Parking and Turn Signal Lamp Bracket Replacement.

Front Fog Lamp Assembly Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2.0 N·m (18 lb in)

Front Fog Lamp Adjuster Screw

Procedure

Aim the fog lamps after the park, and turn signal lamp bracket has been re-installed. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming.

Tip
Count the reverse turns of the adjuster screw in order to have the same number of turns upon re-assembly.

Front Fog Lamp Adjuster Screw Retainer

Tip
Ensure the retainer is fully seated into the park, and turn signal lamp bracket prior to installing the adjuster screw.

Front Fog Lamp Assembly

Warning: Refer to Halogen Bulb Warning in the Preface section.

Tip
Transfer the fog lamp bulb as needed.
