Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front wheelhouse liner front in order to access the front turn signal bulb. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement.
  2. Rotate and disconnect the front turn signal bulb socket from the park, turn lamp assembly.

Park and Turn Signal Bulb

Warning: Refer to Halogen Bulb Warning in the Preface section.

Procedure

Pull the bulb straight from the lamp assembly bulb socket.

  2. Disconnect the front turn signal bulb socket from the headlamp assembly.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Procedure

Discard the bulb and socket assembly.

  2. Disconnect the front turn signal bulb sockets from the park, turn lamp assembly bracket.

Procedure

Pull the bulbs straight from the lamp sockets.

Component Name

Warning: The high intensity discharge system produces high voltage and current. To reduce the risk of severe shocks and burns:

   • Never open the high intensity discharge system ballast or the arc tube assembly starter.
   • Never probe between the high intensity discharge system ballast output connector and the arc tube assembly.

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement.

Rotate the bulb socket counter-clockwise and remove from the lamp housing.
