Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
- Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
- Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor (1).
- Remove the air inlet duct from the MAF sensor and the throttle body.
- Remove the MAF sensor from the air filter housing.
Installation Procedure
- Carefully install the MAF sensor to the air filter housing.
- Install the MAF sensor (1) to the air inlet duct.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
