Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2000 🢒 GL7 (Export) 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Electrical 🢒 Enabling the SIR System

    Object Number: 262989 Size: SH
  1. Connect the passenger frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (1) located behind the right insulator panel.
  2. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) (2) to the passenger frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (1).
  3. Install the right insulator panel.

    4. Object Number: 262986 Size: SH
  4. Connect the driver frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (2) located at the base of the steering column.
  5. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) (3) to the driver frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (2).
  6. Install the left insulator panel.
  7. Install the SDM Fuse to the fuse block.
  8. Staying well away from the airbags and pretensioners, turn ON the ignition.
    9. 8.1. The AIR BAG warning lamp will flash seven times.
    8.2. The AIR BAG warning lamp will then turn OFF.
  9. Perform A Diagnostic System Check - SIR if the AIR BAG warning lamp does not operate as described.
