Removal Procedure
  1. The tail lamp, turn signal lamp, back-up lamp and the rear fog lamp are all located in the tail lamp housing. Use this procedure for all.
  2. Open the liftgate.

    3. Object Number: 313857 Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws from the tail lamp.
  4. Pull the tail lamp housing from the body.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.

    2. Object Number: 313857 Size: SH
  2. Align the tail lamp housing locking guide pins to the body.
  3. Press the tail lamp housing into the locking guide pin holes.

    4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the screws to the tail lamp housing.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Close the liftgate.
