J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
4. Remove the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
5. Remove the HVAC auxiliary control assembly. Refer to Control Assembly Replacement - Auxiliary in Side Trim Panel in HVAC Systems with A/C-Manual.
6. Remove the rear audio controls. Refer to Rear Seat Audio Control Replacement (VIN Code U) in Entertainment.



7. Remove the body side front trim panel retainers using the J 38778 .
8. Remove the body side front trim panel from the vehicle.

1. Install the body side front trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Install the body side front trim panel retainers by aligning the retainers to the holes and pushing in on the retainers to secure them.
3. Install the rear audio controls. Refer to Rear Seat Audio Control Replacement (VIN Code U) in Entertainment.
4. Install the HVAC auxiliary control assembly. Refer to Control Assembly Replacement - Auxiliary in Side Trim Panel in HVAC Systems with A/C-Manual.
5. Install the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
6. Install the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
7. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
8. Install the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
