For 1990-2009 cars only
- Insert a 1/2 inch drive ratchet into the outer drive belt tensioner.
- Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise.
- Remove the drive belt from around the drive belt idler pulley.
- Slowly rotate the drive belt tensioner counterclockwise.
- Remove the 1/2 inch drive ratchet.
- Remove the drive belt from around the following:

| • | Generator |
| • | Air conditioning compressor |
| • | Power steering pump pulley |
| • | Water pump pulley |
| • | Drive belt tensioner |
