- Install the upper intake manifold gasket.
- Install the upper intake manifold.
- Install the upper intake manifold bolts and studs.
- Install the throttle body gasket.
- Install the throttle body.
- Install the throttle body nuts and bolts.
- Install the engine wiring harness heat shield.
- Install the engine wiring harness heat shield bolt and nut.
- Install the fuel injector rail.
- Install the fuel injector rail nuts.
- Install the ignition control module assembly.
- Install the ignition control module assembly bracket nuts.
- Connect the ignition control module connector to the ignition control module assembly.
- Install the wiring harness to the fuel rail.
- Install the spark plug wires to the retaining clips and spark plugs.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

Tighten the upper intake manifold bolts and studs in sequence to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the throttle body nuts and bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the engine wiring harness heat shield bolt and nut to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the fuel injector rail nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the ignition control module assembly bracket nuts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
