Test the battery positive voltage circuit of the instrument panel cluster (IPC) for an open, or for a high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the ground circuits of the IPC for an open, or for a high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Inspect for poor connections at the IPC. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.
