Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the hood.
  2. Drain the washer solvent from the washer solvent container.

  3. Object Number: 1257439  Size: SH
  4. Remove the upper washer solvent container screw.
  5. Remove the right front fender liner. Refer to Fender, Fender Insulator, Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front in Body Front End.

  6. Object Number: 815208  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the washer pump hose.
  8. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector.
  9. Disconnect the washer solvent level sensor electrical connector.
  10. Remove the washer pump from the container.
  11. Remove the level sensor from the container.

  12. Object Number: 1257439  Size: SH
  13. Remove the lower washer solvent container screws.
  14. Remove the washer solvent container from the right frame rail.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1257439  Size: SH
  1. Position the washer solvent container to the right frame rail.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the lower washer solvent container screws.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the washer pump to the container.
  6. Install the level sensor to the container.
  7. Connect the washer solvent level sensor electrical connector.
  8. Connect the washer pump electrical connector.
  9. Connect the washer pump hose.
  10. Install the right front fender liner. Refer to Fender, Fender Insulator, Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front in Body Front End.

  11. Object Number: 1257439  Size: SH
  12. Install the upper washer solvent container screw.
  13. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  14. Fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
  15. Close the hood.
