Horizontal Operation of Seat Not Smooth but Jerky-Apparent Hard Operation

The adjuster horizontal actuator is damaged.

Replace the adjuster assembly.

Horizontal Chuck or Looseness

    â€¢ The horizontal actuator is improperly adjusted to the rack.
    â€¢ The top plate subassembly is loose.
    â€¢ Replace the adjuster assembly.
    â€¢ Replace the adjuster assembly.

One Adjuster Will Not Operate Horizontally

    â€¢ The horizontal drive cable is disconnected or damaged.
    â€¢ The horizontal actuator is inoperative.
    â€¢ Inspect the drive cables, they must be stright to be engaged. Replace if damaged.
    â€¢ Replace the adjuster assembly.

One Adjuster Will not Operate Vertically

    â€¢ The vertical drive cable is disconnected or damaged.
    â€¢ The vertical actuator subassembly is inoperative.
    â€¢ Inspect the vertical drive cables, replace if damaged.
    â€¢ Replace the adjuster assembly.

Both Adjusters Will Not Operate Horizontally and/or Vertically

    â€¢ The motor is damaged or inoperative.
    â€¢ The wiring harness is damaged.
    â€¢ Replace the adjuster assembly
    â€¢ Replace the wiring harness.

Vertical Chuck or Looseness

The vertical actuator is inoperative.

Replace the adjuster assembly.
