Service (split ring) seal kit Part Number 26010340 is now available and can be installed on all vehicles equipped with power rack and pinion steer'lng gears with aluminum valve body housings. The service seal kit replaces the previous solid rings.

The special split rings are designed to expand into the seal wear grooves which may exist in the valve body housing and seat against the bottom of the grooves. This will ensure power steering assist when cold.
