FRONT BUMPER RUB STRIP MODIFICATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 Regal, LeSabre And Electra

The rub strip for the 1984 Regal Coupe, Regal Sedan, LeSabre and Electra has been revised to provide clearance for the bolt heads added to the face plate.

The parts as listed below are being changed for the new application. The part number will not be changed since the rub strip will be suitable for use on the previous model years.

Regal Coupe --------------- 25505649 Regal Sedan --------------- 1257284 Electra and LeSabre ------- 25508584

Any of the old stock in your inventory will require modification for use on the 1984 models, by cutting away enough ribbing on the inboard side of the rub strip to provide clearance for the bolt heads (see illustrations).
