Illustrations in the 1986 Oldsmobile Firenza, Calais, Cutlass Ciera, Delta 88, Ninety-Eight Chassis Service Manual (Vol. I), Section 5E-12, Figure 12 and in Volume II 'C/H' 201-14, Figure B show the in line fuses in the incorrect location. Refer to the illustration for the correct location of these fuses.
Test A, Pin-Out Checks in Section 5E-20 of Volume I contains a diode check (last item). The main relay must disconnected prior to performing this test. Failure to disconnect the main relay before checking the diode will result in a false indication of a diode failure.
