In the event of an arm rest pad coming loose (or off) at the front, determine which one (or possibly both) of two conditions exist and repair as follows:
CONDITION 1: Arm rest pad retaining tab broken off (See Figure 1).
CORRECTION: Using bracket, Part Number 20747293, position on pad per Figure 2, Drill 1/8" holes in pad foundation base, being careful not to drill beyond foundation base. Install 1/8" pop rivets.
CONDITION 2: Retaining screw loose at front of pad to lower arm rest base (See Figure 3).
CORRECTION: Replace the screw with a longer screw, length 40mm (1 5/8") which will travel thru the pad and into the plastic base beyond the metal "J" nut, into the arm rest base.
