WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS REVISIONS TO SERVICE MANUAL

MODELS AFFECTED: 1988 FRONT WHEEL DRIVE ELECTRAS AND LESABRES

Wheel alignment specifications have changed since the 1988 Chassis Service Manual was published. Use the following specifications when performing a wheel alignment on 1988 front wheel drive Electras and LeSabres:

Front

* Camber +.2 DEG. +/- .5 DEG,

* Cross Camber 0 DEG. +/- .75 DEG.

* Caster 3 DEG. +/- .5 DEG.

* Cross Caster 0 DEG. +/- .75 DEG. (LH Minus RH)

* Toe (per wheel) 0 DEG. +/- .1 DEG.

* Sum Toe 0 DEG. +/- .2 DEG. (LH Plus RH)

* Steering Wheel Angle 0 DEG. +/- 3 DEG.

Rear

* Camber -.3 DEG. +/- .5 DEG.

* Toe (per wheel) .05 DEG. +/- .1 DEG.

* Sum Toe .1 DEG. +/- .2 DEG.
