CENTER CONSOLE LATCH BREAKAGE (INSTALL LATCH KIT P/N)

CENTRE ARM REST STORAGE COMPARTMENT LATCH BREAKAGE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1988 LESABRE -----------------

In the event a center arm rest storage compartment cover latch becomes disengaged from the cover, repair as follows:

1. Order a new latch kit, Part Number:

12392867 - Sapphire 12392868 - Med. Beechwood 12392869 - Garnet Red 12392870 - Med. Antelope 12392871 - Dark Rosewood 12392873 - Med. Dark Gray

2. Insert two (2) springs into holes in latch (per illustration 1).

3. Line up inside edges of grooves in latch with edges of hole in armrest cover.

4. Push latch into home until you hear the snaps click into place.

5. Push latch several times to see if it is functioning properly.

Use the most applicable labour operation from the Canadian Labour Time Guide and claim 0.5 hours.
