WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1988 C AND H CARS ----------------- Wheel alignment specifications have changed since the 1988 Chassis Service Manual was published. Use the following specifications when performing a wheel alignment on 1988 C and H cars.

FRONT

o Camber +.2 deg. + or - .5 deg.

o Cross Camber 0 deg. + or - .75 deg. (LH Minus RH)

o Caster 3 deg. + or - .5 deg.

o Cross Caster 0 deg. + or - .75 deg. (LH Minus RH)

o Toe (per wheel) 0 deg. + or - .1 deg.

o Sum Toe 0 deg. + or - .2 deg. (LH Plus RH)

o Steering Wheel Angle 0 deg. + or - 3 deg.

NOTE: For the Cadillac Deville only.

o Camber Right +0.5 deg. + or - 0.5 deg. Left -0.5 deg. + or - 0.5 deg.

o Cross Camber 0 deg. + or - 0.5 deg. (LH Minus RH)

o Caster 3.0 deg. + or - 1.0 deg.

REAR

o Camber -.3 deg. + or - .5 deg.

o Toe (per wheel) .05 deg. + or - .1 deg.

o Sum Toe .1 deg. + or - .2 deg.
