SER. REPLACEMENT VALVE SPRING AND CAP (NEW SERVICE KIT)

SUBJECT: SERVICE REPLACEMENT VALVE SPRING AND CAP (NEW SERVICE KIT) 1989-91 3300/3800/EV6 ENGINES

MODELS AFFECTED: 1989-91 SKYLARK, CENTURY, LESABRE, ELECTRA/PARK AVENUE, AND RIVIERA/REATTA MODELS 1990-91 REGAL MODELS

A new valve spring and cap are used in production on 1991 3300/3800/EV6 engines. The 1991 spring and cap can be used to service all 1989-91 3300/3800/EV6 engines.

A kit (1 spring and 1 cap) is currently available from GMSPO under Part Number 12351013.

The spring and cap are serviced in kit form and therefore, if either part requires replacement, both parts supplied in the kit are to be replaced.
