--------- Owners of some 1992 LeSabres with the fixed mast antenna may experience water leaking into the trunk area around the rubber bezel while going through automatic car washes with the antenna mast left in place. The customer may also comment that the antenna is loose or feels flimsy if the bracket welded to the quarter panel comes loose.
---------- Install the new antenna base 25610633 and bezel 25609129 that have been released for service.
1. Attach the bracket to the wheelhouse flange as shown in the illustration.
2. Attach the ground strap to the forward hole in the quarter panel bracket as shown in the illustration. Be sure that the ground is clean and secure. Plug in the coaxial cable.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
