---------- A condition where the seat may not have enough upward travel may be noted on the subject vehicles.
----------- 1. Obtain Kit, Part Number 12520796.
2. Remove the four (4) hexhead bolts attaching the seat frame to the adjuster. On vehicles with the 6-way power seat option, the adjuster must be in the full "up" position to remove these bolts.
3. Insert the spacer between the seat frame and adjuster at all four bolt locations. (See Figure 1)
4. Coat threads of the new replacement bolts with thread sealant/adhesive, GM Part No. 12345382, and attach the seat frame to the adjuster.
5. Torque the attaching bolts to 22-28 N.m (17 lbs. ft.).
For vehicles repaired under warranty use:
Labor Time: Left (Driver's Side) 0.8 hour. Right (Passenger's Side) 0.8 hour.
