Tools Required

    • J 6125-1B Slide Hammer
    • J 36995 Balance Shaft Remover

    Object Number: 42237 Size: SH
  1. Remove the balance shaft drive gear bolt.
  2. Remove the balance shaft drive gear.
  3. Remove the balance shaft retainer bolts.
  4. Remove the balance shaft retainer.
  5. Remove the balance shaft gear.

    6. Object Number: 36705 Size: SH
  6. Use the J 6125-1B in order to remove the balance shaft.

    7. Object Number: 36706 Size: SH
  7. Use the J 36995 in order to remove the rear bushing. It may take a considerable amount of force in order to loosen the bushing from the block bore.
