Never Spray water on a hot radiator. The resulting steam could cause personal injury.

The front face of the condenser and radiator should be cleaned yearly. Insects, leaves, etc. can be removed by blowing compressed air through the radiator, from the rear toward the front of the vehicle. If compressed air is not available, a water hose can be used to force the water through the radiator from the rear toward the front of the vehicle. Use water only when the engine is not running and is cool.

Notice: Compressed air or water can be used to clean the radiator fins. Do not exceed 138 kPa (20 psi). Pressure over 138 kPa (20 psi) will damage the radiator.

Important: It is important that the radiator is kept clean for proper cooling.

Notice: The heat exchanger fins are necessary for good heat transfer. Do not brush the fins. This may cause damage to the fins, reducing heat transfer.
