Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement Column Shift

1. Remove the cable from the transmission.
2. Remove the left sound insulator and the knee bolster. Refer to Left Sound Insulator and Knee Bolster in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.



3. Remove the cable retaining clip and the cable at the steering column.
4. Remove the cable assembly through the hole in the cowl.

1. Properly route the cable. Position the cable.



2. Install the cable and the retaining clip at the steering column.
3. Install the left sound insulator and the knee bolster. Refer to Left Sound Insulator and Knee Bolster in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
4. Install the cable at the transaxle.
5. Adjust the cable. Refer to Automatic Transmission Range Selector Cable Adjustment .
