Tighten all the fasteners to the specifications. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Inspect the exhaust manifold.

Is the manifold cracked or broken?

Replace the exhaust manifold.

Inspect the crossover exhaust pipe.

Is the pipe leaking?

Tighten the nuts and the bolts to the specifications. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Inspect the exhaust seals.

Are the seals damaged or worn?

Replace the seals.

Inspect the exhaust component joints.

Is there leakage at the joints?

  1. Tighten the clamps to the specifications. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .
  2. Replace the clamps if damaged.
