Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the programmer. Refer to Programmer Replacement

  4. Object Number: 327297  Size: SH
  5. Remove the cover from the programmer case by snapping the case open.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  7. Remove the following components:
  8. • The screws that mount the driver air mix valve actuator to the vehicle
    • The driver air mix valve actuator

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 327297  Size: SH
  1. Install the driver air mix valve actuator (4) to the vehicle .
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screws (3) in order to secure the driver air mix valve actuator to the vehicle.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.4 N·m (12 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector (5).
  6. Install the cover to the programmer case by snapping the case closed.
  7. Install the programmer.
  8. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  9. Install the right sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
