Removal Procedure
- Remove the console storage bin. Refer to
Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement

- Remove the console compartment door. Refer to
Front Floor Console Armrest Replacement

- Remove the fasteners (1)
from the console compartment door plate.
- Remove the door plate.
- Remove the fasteners (1)
retaining the hinge to the console compartment door.
- Remove the hinge.
Installation Procedure
- Align the hinge to the
console compartment door.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the hinge
fasteners (1).
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.6 N·m (14 lb in).
- Install the console compartment door plate.
- Install the door plate
fasteners (1).
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.6 N·m (14 lb in).
- Install the console compartment door to the console. Refer to

- Install the storage bin. Refer to

Removal Procedure
- Remove the console compartment
door. Refer to

- Remove the console rear trim plate. Refer to
Console Rear Trim Plate Replacement
.
- Remove the cigar lighter. Refer to
Cigar Lighter Housing Replacement
.
- Remove the fasteners (3) retaining the hinge to the console.
Remove the hinge.
Installation Procedure
- Install the hinge to the
console.

Tighten the fasteners to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).
