  1. Disconnect the suspect door jamb switch. Refer to Instrument Cluster: Analog Schematics.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  3. Connect a fused jumper between the door jamb switch connector terminals and ground. Refer to Instrument Cluster: Analog Schematics .

Does the DIC DOOR AJAR indicator light?

Inspect CKT 745 (GRY/BLK) for an open, from the instrument cluster to the door jamb switch connector. Refer to Instrument Cluster: Analog Schematics .

Is CKT 745 OK?

Connect a fused jumper between the door jamb switch connector terminals.

Does the DOOR AJAR indicator light?

Inspect CKT 1250 (BLK) for an open.

    • C502
    • C603
    • C702
    • C802

Are the connectors properly connected?
