Did you perform the HUD System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Head Up Display (HUD) System Check

  1. Disconnect the HUD control switch connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper between the HUD control switch connector terminals 6 and 9.
  3. Connect a second fused jumper between the HUD control switch connector terminals 5 and 10.
  4. Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
  5. Reconnect the jumpers in order to connect terminal 5 to terminal 6 and terminal 9 to terminal 10.

Does the adjuster motor move down for the first jumper arrangement and up for the second jumper arrangement?

Inspect the HUD control switch connector for proper terminal contact.

Is the terminal contact OK?

Inspect CKT 621 (YEL) for an open or short to ground.

Is the wiring OK?

Replace the HUD control switch.

Is the replacement complete?

Repair the poor terminal contact at the HUD control switch.

Is the repair complete?

Inspect CKT 620 (BRN) for an open or short to ground.

Is the wiring OK?

Go to Step 8

Replace the HUD control module.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 621 (YEL).

Is the repair complete?
