2. Disconnect the body control module (MALL) connector C1.
3. Measure the voltage from connector C1 terminal G (harness side) to ground.

Does the measured voltage match the specified value?

12 V

Inspect CKT 640 (ORN) for an open.

Is the wiring OK?

2. Measure the voltage from connector C1 terminal H (harness side) to ground.

Does the measured voltage match the specified value?

12 V

Inspect CKT 540 (ORN/BLK) for an open or a short to ground.

Is the wiring OK?

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Measure the voltage from connector C1 terminal H (harness side) to terminal D (harness side) .

Does the measured voltage match the specified value?

12 V

Inspect CKT 1450 (BLK) for an open.

Is the circuit OK?

1. Disconnect the MALL module connector C2.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. Measure the voltage from connector C2 terminal C13 (harness side) to ground.

Does the measured voltage match the specified value?

12 V

Inspect CKT 39 (PNK) for an open or a short to ground.

Is the wiring OK?

Repair the open in CKT 640 (ORN).

Inspect the MALL module connectors for proper terminal contact.

Is the contact OK?

Inspect fuse 6A in the IP fuse block for an open.

Is the fuse OK?

Replace open fuse 6A in the IP fuse block.

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 540 (ORN/BLK). Refer to Repairing Damaged Wire Insulation in Wiring Systems.

Is the fuse open?
