  1. Turn off the ignition switch.
  2. Disconnect the boost/manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
  3. Turn on the ignition switch.

Does the boost gauge remain on?

Replace the boost/manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. Refer to the appropriate procedure:

Inspect CKT 891 (BLK) for a short to voltage.

Is the wire OK?

Repair the short to voltage on CKT 891 (BLK).

Inspect connector C101 terminal F7 and connect C200 terminal A9 for proper terminal contact.

is the terminal contact OK?

Repair the poor terminal contact.
