When the RFA module receives a valid command from a transmitter to lock the doors, the RFA module sends the appropriate signal to the body control module (MALL) to lock the doors. The RFA module controls the LH door lock isolation relay directly to provide for the two door lock modes, driver door unlock and all doors unlock.
When the RFA module receives a valid command from the transmitter to open the rear compartment it grounds CKT 1344 enabling the rear compartment lid release relay causing the rear compartment to open.
When the RFA module receives a valid command from a transmitter to turn on the panic alarm it applies ground alternatively between CKTs 28 and 624 1 time a second.
When the RFA module grounds CKT 28 it enables the horn relay causing the horn to sound.
When the RFA module grounds CKT 624 the lamp control module (LCM) turns on the exterior lamps.
The alarm will continue until one of the following events occurs:
• | The system receives another valid alarm command. |
• | Thirty seconds elapse. |
