  1. Close all the doors.

Press the transmitter (keyfob) UNLOCK button.

The left or right front door unlocks.

  1. Close all the doors.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  4. Open the left or right front door.

The SECURITY indicator flashes.

Press the left or the right front power door lock switch.

The SECURITY indicator illuminates.

  1. Close the left or the right front door.
  2. Stay in the vehicle.
  1. The security indicator illuminates for 30 seconds.
  2. The CTD system arms.

  1. After 1 minute, use the mechanical lock/unlock lever in order to unlock the left or the right front door.
  2. Open the left or right front door.
  1. The horns and exterior lights cycle ON and OFF.
  2. The lights cycle approximately once per second for 3 to 7 minutes.
  3. The CTD system is in the alarm mode.

  1. Wait 3 minutes after the CTD system enters the alarm mode.
  2. Use the key in order to lock/unlock the left or the right front door.
  1. The horns and exterior lights stop cycling ON and OFF.
  2. The CTD system is disarmed.

  1. Disarm the CTD system.
  2. Press the remote keyless entry transmitter UNLOCK button.

The CTD system is disarmed.

  1. Sitting in the vehicle, use the mechanical door lever in order to lock each door.
  2. Close all the doors.
  1. The SECURITY indicator turns OFF when the last door is closed.
  2. The CTD system does not enter the armed mode.

  1. Use the mechanical door lock lever or outside key lock in order to unlock the left front door.
  2. Open the door.

The CTD system does not enter the alarm mode.
