Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 306613 Size: SH
  1. Remove the hood panel. Refer to Hood Replacement .
  2. Remove the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement .
  3. Loosen the fender. Refer to Front Fender Replacement .
  4. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the hood hinge (1) to the upper rail.
  5. Remove the hinge (1) .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 306613 Size: SH
  1. Install the hood hinge (1) .
  2. Install the bolts (2) in order to retain the hinge (1) to the upper rail.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 29 N·m (21 lb ft).

  3. Tighten the fender. Refer to Front Fender Replacement .
  4. Remove the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the hood.
  6. Inspect the hood for the proper hood alignment.
