Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  2. Object Number: 401140  Size: SH
  3. Insert a small, flat-blade tool between the switch plate and the trim panel.
  4. Disengage the switch plate retainer clips.
  5. Lift the switch plate (1).

  6. Object Number: 401147  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
  8. Disengage the window switch retainers.
  9. Remove the window switch (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 401147  Size: SH
  1. Install the window switch (2) to the switch plate (1).
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.

  3. Object Number: 401140  Size: SH
  4. Install the switch plate (1) in the trim panel.
  5. Push inward the switch plate.

  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
