For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the camshaft thrust plate screws.
- Remove the camshaft thrust plate.
- Install one 1/2-20 x 6.0 inch bolt in the camshaft front bolt hole.
- Carefully rotate and pull the camshaft out of the bearings.
Important: All camshaft journals are the same diameter, so care must be used in removing the camshaft to avoid damage to the bearings.
