Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 65341 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  2. Remove the e-clip (3) from the pedal (2).
  3. Remove the plastic retainer from inside the pedal.
  4. Remove the accelerator control cable (1) from the pedal by pulling straight out and up toward the top of the pedal.
  5. Remove the accelerator pedal from the brake and accelerator pedal assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 65341 Size: SH
  1. Install the accelerator pedal (2) to the brake and accelerator pedal assembly.
  2. Install the plastic retainer inside the pedal.
  3. Install the e-clip onto the pedal.
  4. Install the accelerator control cable (1) to the pedal by pulling the pedal straight out and down toward the top of the pedal.

    5. Important: The throttle should operate freely without binding between full closed and wide open throttle.

  5. Check for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating the accelerator pedal. Also check for proper carpet fit under the accelerator pedal.
  6. Install the left IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
