Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 507543  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the vacuum hoses (4) from the vacuum control solenoid (3).
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the vacuum control solenoid (3).

  4. Remove the bolt (2) that attaches the vacuum control solenoid (3) to the mounting bracket.
  5. Remove the vacuum control solenoid (3).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 507667  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the bolt (2) securing the vacuum control solenoid (3) to the mounting bracket (4).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the mounting bolt to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  3. Connect the vacuum hoses (4) to the vacuum control solenoid (3).
  4. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the vacuum control solenoid (3).
