Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2000 🢒 LeSabre 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transaxle - 4T65-E 🢒 Output Shaft Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left drive axle from the transaxle. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement in Driveline/Axle.
  2. Remove the final drive. Refer to Final Drive Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 10519 Size: SH
  3. Pull the output shaft out of the transmission.
  4. Inspect the output shaft (510) and the bearing (511) for the following:
    5. • A cracked or deformed bearing cage
    • Damaged bushing journals
    • Stripped splines
    • A damaged retainer ring groove

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the output shaft. Refer to Output Shaft Assemble in the Transmission Ubit Repair Manual.
  2. Install the case extension housing. Refer to Case Extension Replacement .
  3. Connect the left drive axle to the transaxle. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement in Driveline/Axle.
